Under the auspices of Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin A. Jameel-President of the University of Zakho, Xadeng Cultural Page of the Statistics and ICT Center of the University of Zakho, the theatrical play Mame Ala which was written by Abdulrahim R. Hakari in 1919, was played at the hall of conferences at the Faculty of Science.
The play was directed by Mr. Omed Sagvan and Mr. Barozh Hashim under the supervision of Dr. Karwan F. Sami-Vice President of the University for Students Affairs. It is worth mentioning that the aim of the play was to preserve the cultural heritage.
